sharon byberg, graphic designer
I was born in New England and lived there until 1997. My daughter Mariah and I then moved to Port Charlotte, FL. Throughout the years, I was either hand lettering signs or hand drafting homes and buildings. My dad was a self employed carpenter and he got me into drafting. During high school, art was by far my favorite subject. It was my first class of the morning and a day didn't go by without paint, clay, or glue attached somewhere on my person. See, I love designing and creating: Period! My last job, I was an AutoCAD drafter for a surveying and mapping company. I enjoyed the career and I really enjoyed where I worked but the economy turned and I was laid off. Instead of letting it get me down, I took the opportunity to enroll into the International Academy of Design and Technology for graphic design. Now, after graduating with a 3.9 GPA, I am ready to design and create. As you read earlier, I am taking this opportunity to even the next level by furthering my education and work towards my Bachelors in Web Development.
what designs me
Many things drive a person. Mine is to take thoughts and make them into visual elements. I can 'see' ideas and thoughts, then I create them into designs. I consider this a gift from God. I am a very outgoing person and can see positive in just about everything. I look at life as humbling, challenging and exciting. I enjoy listening to people talk about their passions and what they are interested in. I learn and design from those interests. So, look around, I know you will find my work interesting. Also to remember to check back because as I learn new things, I will be adding them here. If my work interests you, contact me and we'll see what I can do for you. Deal?
